“Open the podcast door please, Hal…”
I want to share the happy news that my partner, science fiction writer, Spider Robinson, has just become a podcaster. Five episodes of the podcast “Spider On The Web” are already available either at the iTunes Store or at or . For the first 2 months he’ll be ‘casting twice a week, alternating between 8 essays about space and space travel he wrote while Writer In Residence at Vancouver’s HR MacMillan Space Centre, and 8 sample chapters from the Blackstone Audiobooks edition of VARIABLE STAR by Robert A. Heinlein and Spider Robinson….which just happens to be coming out in paperback at the end of November.
.
After that, he envisions a format with new posts every Friday.
-First Friday: Spider’s Futures. He’ll read one of his short stories.
-Second Friday: Spider’s Past. He’ll read aloud one of the Crazy Years columns.
-Third Friday: Spider’s Music. Original music, either live or from unreleased sources, with occasional help from his musical friends.
- Fourth Friday: Spider’s Present: He’ll rant or rhapsodize about whatever in the news has been most enraging or exciting (with occasional guest ranters).
Enjoy!

We’d like to be heard and reviewed. Honestly and brutally. We have a buttload of production value and we hire professional listeners for favors..LOL
We broadcast live on Sundays 2pm ET.
It’s best described as Happy Hour on Radio. Almost locker room but less vulgar and a creepy dark side of humor.
We predict things that eventually turn out to be true.
I, the host have previous on-air experience in Albany, Ny, The Empire state. Say No more.
Listen, enjoy and take it all in. we work hard for our listeners. it shows.

Great site. If you fancy something to make you smile please check out our podcast – Max Buffer’s Media Museum.
It’s a comedy spoofing the rotten world of television in which two producers create ever more bizarre shows and recall their own work throughout the years. We’ve had a surfing doctor/detective tackling hypnotised sharks, high-class drama based on satellite TV chatline channels and a revolutionary way to find love on the telly.
You can find us at mediamuseum.libsyn.com and check out the blog mediamuseum.wordpress.com.
Hope you can find time for a listen, and more importantly I hope you enjoy it.
